The House of Balance offers pregnancy course, prenatal yoga, postnatal yoga, and baby massage in Amsterdam, in both Dutch and English. We guide (expecting) parents in preparing for a confident birth and in their recovery in the period after birth.
Pregnancy course in Amsterdam with prenatal yoga
Our pregnancy course in Amsterdam prepares you step by step for childbirth. During the course, we combine prenatal yoga and birth preparation, so that you are well prepared both physically and mentally.
The gentle prenatal yoga gives you a weekly moment of relaxation and helps you gain confidence in your body. You will also learn the theory of childbirth, practical breathing techniques, and how to deal with contractions.
Together with your (birth) partner and other couples, you will prepare for childbirth in small groups with lots of personal attention.
Our course is available in both Dutch and English. In many cases partially reimbursed by your health insurer.

The postnatal yoga course in Amsterdam offers you the opportunity to work together with your baby and with other new mothers in a fun and safe way on the physical recovery after your delivery.
In this course, we move in small groups, with plenty of attention to your recovery and space to reconnect with your body. A wonderful class to move in a relaxed way, connect with your baby, and share experiences with other mothers.
Our course is available in both Dutch and English.

The birth preparation course: pregnancy yoga and birth preparation is a combination of gentle yoga, effective breathing techniques, relaxation exercises, and useful information regarding your pregnancy and birth.
Online pregnancy coaching
Pregnancy coaching is a one-on-one program, completely tailored to your needs. It prepares you for your birth. You can determine the number of sessions yourself, and choose whether to have a session with your birth partner.
Online postnatal yoga exercises with your baby
For your postnatal recovery you will find short classes with breathing exercises, pelvic floor muscle exercises and yoga classes for relaxation and strength building that you can also do together with your baby.
